ProThread® offers thread repair solutions for the automotive aftermarket and DIY. ProThread kits, in both box and clamshell styles, contain the necessary tools to repair stripped, worn or damaged threads. Every kit contains quality tools and inserts and utilizes a high quality carbon steel tap to ensure consistent performance even in multi-hole applications.
The ProThread product range is M5 through M16 in coarse threads, M5 through M12 in fine threads, UNC #6 through 3/4 and UNF #10 through 3/4.
Additionally, the product range also includes ProThread PlugFix® solid inserts for both taper and gasket seat spark plug repair. The PlugFix repair kit includes 3 insert lengths to suit most common spark plug reaches.
